Here’s what medical professionals have said about Trager:

”I have studied Dr. Milton Trager’s techniques and prescribe them frequently for my patients (medical and psychotherapeutic) and corporate clients. They are of great value in treating a large variety of ills, and have the added benefit of creating a high level of wellness and a sense of well being.”
— Emmett E. Miller, M.D., Specialist in Psychophysiological Medicine and Stress Management

“Trager® work is one of the least invasive forms, using gentle rocking and bouncing motions to induce states of deep, pleasant relaxation. It helps facilitate the nervous system’s communication with the muscles, so that it can be used as a method of rehabilitation especially by people suffering from traumatic injuries, post-polio syndrome, and other chronic neuromuscular problems.”
— Andrew Weil M.D., Author of Spontaneous Healing, Director, Program in Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona, Tucson

“Milton Trager’s work will benefit anyone wishing to lead a healthier and more dynamic life”.
— Deepak Chopra

Five Ways the Comfort Coach Will Change Your Life
1. Ever feel like a ticking time bomb, waiting to explode? Defuse it. Discover calmness in yourself.
2. Does your neck feel like you are wearing a suit of armor? Find out how to keep it loose.
3. Are you exhausted? Use what astronauts already know to have more energy at the end of the day.
4. Do you feel like you are wearing a ball and chain on your ankle? Keep your legs and feet awake even if you are restricted to your desk. You will be able to get up and walk without feeling stiff or numb.
5. Masking pain with medication will only have it return later. Instead, find the cause of your pain and discover the comfort surrounding it.

There is a solution in between medication and meditation that is simple and effective. It’s called the Trager® Approach to relaxation and movement education. Trager clients have experienced relief from the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, fibromyalgia, arthritis, chronic headaches, stress and more.

I am Anne Galbraith Robbins and I call myself the Comfort Coach. My training has focused exclusively on the Trager Approach. After their certification, the United States Trager Association requires practitioners to re-certify annually, take continuing education classes and work on a supervising tutor to insure that clients experience the highest standard of the Trager methods.

What I Discovered Changed My Life
After I received my first Trager session, I realized I had found something extraordinary. I thought pain at the end of the day was normal. I was a dog groomer with chronic back pain from lifting heavy dogs and wrestling with uncooperative ones. I had all the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome from the repetitive motion associated with my job. Trager helped me not only to eliminate pain, but also get more done in less time with no physical strain. I was absolutely hooked. Today, I move better than I did when I was young. When I was 20, my boyfriend made fun of how “stiff” I was. I hated dancing, but with Trager I found rhythm and turned life into a dance. I was so impressed by my improvement that I decided to become a Trager practitioner and completed the required training. It is highly rewarding to me when my Trager clients experience the same life-changing benefits that I have enjoyed. Call 262-818-8569.

Never heard of Trager®?
The Trager Approach is named for its creator, Milton Trager, who was born in Chicago in 1908 with a spinal deformity. Still, he was highly athletic. He was conscious of his movements and how they kept him from pain. Trager became a physician who was formally trained in general medicine, physical therapy and psychiatry. But it was his own physical challenges that led him to develop his lifetime practice of movement education. He began teaching the Trager approach to relaxation and bodily movement in 1975 and taught until his death in 1997. His work is carried on by Trager practitioners around the world, including the Comfort Coach, Anne Galbraith Robbins of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Afraid of a chiropractor? Hate the pain of a physical therapist?
That’s OK, because Trager is so gentle and calming you will be flirting with sleep during your session. Physical therapy and many methods of massage push past the body’s resistance, sometimes causing pain. Using Trager, Anne finds the point of resistance and backs off to gently play with the free motion available. It is painless and relaxing, yet highly effective.

“That was amazing. It was both relaxing and stimulating at the same time. Trager is subtle yet powerful.”
Larry Peterson, a Comfort Coach client

Here is what a hands-on session is like:
As you lie on a massage table, comfortably clothed, the Comfort Coach will move your body in ways that create a soft, fluid feeling – you will experience waves of relaxation that flow from your head to your toes while promoting increased range of movement.
